STORYTELLERS CLOSET – “It Ain’t About You. It’s About Ubuntu!”
Presenter – Valerie Tutson

This is a time when reality television and the rise of personal narrative in all aspects of life have infiltrated the storytelling world in such a way that we lose sight of the value and power of traditional stories and their role in transforming individuals and community. Storyteller Valerie Tutson will challenge us to explore and experience the value and power of traditional stories to help us see ourselves as we ARE, and how we CAN be.  Let’s see why ancestors, elders and traditional tellers employ the power of imagination along with memory and experience, for the greater good.
