Cleveland Association of Black Storytellers will begin Black History Month by celebrating Mother Mary Carter Smith, Co-founder of the National Association of Black Storytellers, Inc., 100th Birthday on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Maple Heights Library located at 5225 Library Lane, Maple Heights, Ohio 44137, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. 

We will be honoring Mother Mary Carter Smith's life through her work, stories, books and poems and the wonderful legacy she has left us to build upon. 100 Years of "Lighting the Way".  We will have performances by CABS members and our Kesho youth storytellers, a brief panel discussion and refreshments.
