Dubar at Edison Street Dayton, OH 45402 Join the Paul Laurence Dunbar Branch of ASALH as our president, Omope Carter Daboiku shares her ancestors' migration from the mountains of Appalachia to Ironton - an Ohio river town with a richly documented history of Anti-Slavery Leagues and Underground Railroad activity. A seasoned storyteller with international credits, Omope will use techniques gained at an ASALH/NPS "digital storytelling" workshop, plus original poetry, prose, and imagery.
